Teaching & Speaking
Ronnie has spent the last decade inspiring and equipping young people and communities through creative, real-world education and mentorship. In 2016, after moving back to Louisiana from Nashville to help care for his parents, he launched the JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) program at Vidalia Junior High in Vidalia, Louisiana. Over four years, his program earned two state awards and a national award. Ronnie created his own unconventional curriculum to connect more deeply with students, and it worked. More than 90 percent of his students increased their GPA and decreased behavioral issues under his guidance.

In 2022, Ronnie became the founding instructor of Project SEARCH in Natchez, Mississippi. Part of a national initiative operating in 48 states and 10 countries, Project SEARCH provides real-world, on-the-job training to young men and women with disabilities. Since its launch, every graduate of the Natchez Project SEARCH program has either secured employment by the end of their 10-month training or is on track to begin working shortly after graduation. The program was honored with the 100 percent Outcome Award at the Project SEARCH National Convention, an honor that reflects the program’s success in preparing students for employment.

Ronnie’s teaching style is bold, compassionate, and deeply personal. He shares his message with students, educators, businesses, nonprofits, and faith-based groups. Be on the lookout for his upcoming book, Cheat Code, a powerful guide full of the life lessons and principles he has shared with students, organizations, and team members throughout the region. The book is expected to be released in late 2025 or early 2026.
